Assignment: Individually read through the presentations below and take notes. Share back with your group and write a one-page reaction as a group. When you have handed that in to your teacher, brainstorm ideas for what three pieces of propaganda you want to use for your group.

You will have access to cameras, video cameras, microphones, and any other programs on our computers.

Your assignment: Create two bib pages on EasyBib for each of your topics and hand in to your teacher by the end of class. Before tomorrow's classtime, post to this blog by hitting 'Comments' with ideas on how to solve each of your issues. This is just a brainstorm, but should still have some feasible ideas.

Please reply to this post with your group's two choices for issues that you will support. Explain in a short paragraph why you have chosen each of these issues and which side you are going to be on. Make sure that you are gathering your resources and saving them, as you will work on your bibliography this week as well.

The voki mentioned that you should not choose issues that conflict. For example, if you choose something about saving the environment you should not choose something that may have adverse (bad) events on the environment. The only requirement for choosing your issue is that it must be something that effects a large portion of the American people and be something that you can be passionate about.

Our group has come to power to change America. We are hiring you to create a 4 stage propaganda campaign to ensure that our regime is successful. First, create a name, mascot, or slogan to represent our new regime. Second, choose two issues in American politics today that are important to you and choose one side. Third, create a print/ media advertising campaign with at least three items. There is no limit on the cost of the advertising. Fourth, present an individual persuasive speech to the American public on prime time television. Good Luck!
